Stephen H. Sanders

Stephen H. Sanders is the Co-founder and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Biotique Systems, Inc. since 2001.  Mr. Sanders applies his business of science leadership to companies that make a significant positive impact on humanity and the planet. These companies leverage technological advancements in Chemistry and Biology to create knowledge portals into how living organisms work, thrive, heal and produce.   Mr Sanders has applied his vision and leadership skills to help make “Personalized Medicine” and “Smart” agriculture evolve from an idea to reality.  He creates value for his shareholders with a customer focused approach in the fields of:  molecular modeling, electronic medical records, venture capital, bioinformatics, and genomics.   Creating value with consistent positive and ethical guidance for companies like Biotique Systems, who are making a significant contribution to curing disease and feeding the world.  He currently serves as COB of MCM Investments, LLC. and ProMocean, Inc., and has held BOD positions in several healthcare, material, plant, and life science companies since 2000.

Mr. Sanders was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for DoubleTwist, Inc. from 1999-2001. Prior to joining DoubleTwist, he served as Executive Vice President for a division of Venture Capital Group Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. from 1998 to 1999. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Sanders served as Vice President of Sales with Azron, Inc., a provider of healthcare information solutions, which was sold to McNeal Healthcare. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Sanders was a Sales Manager for Biosym Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in molecular modeling technology which was sold to Corning Glass.  In addition, he also held Senior Sales and Marketing positions from 1987 to 1993 with Chevron Chemical Company.

John Burke

Co-founder and President & Chief Scientific Officer of Biotique Systems.

In 1996 he joined Pangea Systems (later to become DoubleTwist, Inc.), where he served as Vice President of Bioinformatics. Over 30 pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic organizations licensed the clustering and alignment tools, SNP analysis tools and chip design systems he developed at DoubleTwist. Formerly, John was a scientist at Sugen, Inc. (later to become a division of Pharmacia) and worked at bio-statistics/data-mining at MasPar/NeoVista. John is a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Police Corps.
